Session Notes - October 7th

Remember that Insider Sessions is covered by NDA which prohibits the recording/capturing/sharing of XDefiant visually. Insider Sessions is in-progress content that we are still working on.

Overview

Insider Sessions is here and with new game modes! For the first time, we are testing a different type of mode: competitive 4v4 game modes! These 4v4 game modes also include side swapping, so that you play both sides before the match ends. Since these modes are new, they are also the focus for this week. Please let us know what you think!

This Week

This week features:

  • Game Modes: Domination 4v4, Escort 4v4, Zone Control 4v4

  • Maps: Arena, Dumbo, Liberty, Nudleplex, Showtime, Daytona, Meltdown, Midway, Times Square, Zoo

This Week’s Focus

  • Focus: Competitive 4v4 Game Modes

  • Example Questions: How do you feel about team sizes of four? How do you feel about matches that have side swapping? Would you change anything about these modes?

Patch Notes

Localization

  • Brazilian Portuguese localization is available in the settings menu

Settings

  • Sprint interrupting reload is now set to “No” by default (previously was set to “Yes”).

Test Timing:

This week test is planned for tomorrow, Friday, October 7th:

EU test: 5 PM BST

NA test: 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET

Next week’s session is planned for October 14th with same timing.
