Session Notes - October 14th

Remember that Insider Sessions is covered by NDA which prohibits the recording/capturing/sharing of XDefiant visually. Insider Sessions is in-progress content that we are still working on.

Overview

This week we are bringing additional new modes to Insider Sessions! Thank you for all the feedback on last’s week test of competitive 4v4 modes. For this week, we are returning back to 6v6. We are also introducing two new modes: Upload and Team Knockout. Please let us know what you think!

  • Example Questions: How do you feel about both new modes? Several changes have been made to Upload, do these changes make it feel better? How would you improve these modes? How do they feel compared to other modes?

Patch Notes

Modes

  • New – Upload – Attackers attempt to cancel the Upload, while Defenders try to stop them. Defenders have no respawn.

    • Note: This is a mode we had in our Closed Test back in August 2021, but have made improvements to it since then.

  • New – Team Knockout – Eliminate the enemy team or hold the Trophy when time runs out. No Respawns!

Test Timing

This week's test is planned for tomorrow, Friday, October 14th:

EU test: 5 PM BST

NA test: 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET

Next week’s session is planned for October 21st with same timing.
